Frequently Asked Questions
Recruiting Process
Q. I submitted my résumé a couple of days ago. How long will it take before I am contacted for an interview?
A. You will receive an email acknowledgment once your résumé has been successfully entered into our database. If there is an opportunity that matches your qualifications, you will be contacted by a Condé Nast Human Resources representative to schedule an interview.
Q. If I don't see any opportunities that match my qualifications or interest me, should I still create a profile?
A. Yes. Opportunities are added regularly and more importantly, recruiters are constantly assessing and evaluating all résumés in order to match them to appropriate opportunities.
Q. I want to work for a particular magazine. Can I apply for that magazine only?
A. While you may certainly express interest in a specific magazine, it is best to leave yourself open to all opportunities within Condé Nast. Limiting your interest to one particular magazine may mean missing out on other exciting positions at our various magazines, websites, and corporate departments.
Q. Do you have any part-time jobs?
A. While there are occasional part-time jobs available at the Company, the vast majority of positions are full-time. The requirements for each job are identified on the site.
Q. What should I wear to my interview?
A. We suggest that you wear professional attire appropriate for a first interview.
Q. If I am interested in a summer internship with Condé Nast, where can I find details and apply?
